01 About this policy
In this policy, “Momo Crown”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Momo Crown brand at momocrown.com. Personal information means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you.
This policy covers our website and related customer communications. References to ordering, delivery, accounts and subscriptions apply where those features are offered and you use them. Independent platforms may also provide their own privacy notices.
02 Information involved
The information involved depends on your interaction. The categories below apply to the services you use; they do not mean every visitor provides all of this information.
- Enquiries
- Your name, email address, telephone number and the details you choose to include in a question, feedback or business enquiry.
- Orders & delivery
- Items ordered, delivery or collection details, contact information, order references and instructions needed to fulfil or support an order.
- Payments
- Transaction references, payment status and refund records associated with an order. A payment provider’s own notice explains its handling of payment credentials entered with that provider.
- Accounts & updates
- Registration details, saved preferences and communication choices, where account or subscription features are available.
- Website activity
- Technical information that website systems may generate, such as IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages and security logs.
If you share an allergy or dietary requirement in an order enquiry, it may reveal health or other sensitive information. Share only what is relevant to the service you need, and avoid including unrelated personal details.
03 Why information is used
Depending on your interaction, information is used to:
- Look after your enquiry: answer questions, receive feedback and resolve service issues.
- Support your order: arrange preparation, delivery or collection, and handle payment enquiries or refunds.
- Maintain your preferences: support available account features and record communication choices.
- Operate the website: investigate errors, address misuse and support the reliability of online services.
- Communicate with you: provide service updates and, where permitted and consistent with your choices, brand news or offers.
- Keep necessary records: manage disputes and meet applicable business or legal obligations.
Where a legal basis is required, it depends on the activity and applicable law. It may include responding to your request or performing a contract, meeting legal obligations, consent, or legitimate interests recognised by that law.
04 Cookies & preferences
Cookies are small files stored on your device. When used by a feature, they can keep a session active, remember a preference or maintain a shopping basket. Optional analytics, advertising or embedded services can involve additional information about a visit.
You can review or remove cookies through your browser settings. If a cookie-preference panel is available on the website, use it to review the choices offered for optional technologies. Blocking a technology can affect a feature that relies on it.
Read any notice shown alongside an embedded service or optional feature before using it.
05 Sharing & service partners
Where another provider supports a service you use, relevant information may be disclosed to that provider. Depending on the service, recipients can include website hosting and support providers, payment processors, ordering platforms, delivery partners and communication services.
Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or public authorities where required or permitted by applicable law, including in connection with fraud, safety concerns or legal claims.
If a service processes information in another country, the relevant transfer requirements and safeguards depend on the countries and providers involved.
06 How long information is kept
Retention is linked to the reason information was collected. Relevant criteria differ by record type:
- Enquiry records
- The time needed to answer an enquiry, complete relevant follow-up and address an unresolved service issue.
- Order & payment records
- Order fulfilment, refunds and disputes, together with applicable tax, accounting or other mandatory record-keeping periods.
- Account information
- The period an account is used, closure requests, and any separate obligation to retain associated transaction records.
- Communication choices
- The time needed to respect a subscription or opt-out choice, including a limited record where necessary to avoid sending unwanted messages.
- Technical records
- The time relevant to troubleshooting, security investigations and any ongoing incident or legal obligation.
A deletion request may be subject to an applicable retention obligation or unresolved claim. You can ask about the records associated with your interaction through the request process below.
07 Security
No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep any account credentials confidential and avoid sending payment credentials, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information in general messages.
If you suspect misuse connected with an order, account or conversation with Momo Crown, raise the concern through the relevant service channel.
08 Your privacy choices
Your rights depend on your location, the applicable law and how information is used. They may include requesting access, correction, deletion, restricted use or a portable copy of personal information, and objecting to certain processing.
Marketing choices. Where applicable, you can object to direct marketing. Use the unsubscribe option in a message where provided, or reply through the communication channel used. Necessary service messages may continue for an active order or enquiry.
Consent. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it through the relevant preference control or request channel. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.
Questions and complaints. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant privacy authority. The available rights, exceptions and response periods are determined by applicable law.
See how to make a privacy request below.
09 Children’s information
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has shared personal information inappropriately, raise a privacy request identifying the relevant interaction. Include only the details needed to locate the information and review the concern.
10 External services
Links and integrations may lead to independent ordering platforms, payment services or social networks. Their notices explain how they handle information provided directly to them. Review those notices when using those services.
This policy addresses Momo Crown’s handling of information and does not replace an independent provider’s notice.
11 Updates to this policy
This policy may change when services, data practices or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Additional notice or consent will be addressed where required by applicable law.
A conversation, with care
12 Making a privacy request
For questions about personal information, write to Momo Crown’s public general-enquiries address. Please include “Privacy enquiry” in the subject so the purpose of your message is clear.
- Describe the information or privacy choice your request concerns.
- Include an order reference or relevant interaction date, if available.
- Share only the details needed to identify the interaction. Do not send full payment credentials.
The information needed to verify and respond to a request depends on the nature of the request and applicable law.
Momo Crown opening announcement signups
If you voluntarily request opening announcements, we store your email address, your selected outlet (Panchkula, Kharar or both), your consent and the submission dates. We use this information to manage the opening announcements you requested. Signups do not create an order, loyalty account or reservation.
We limit repeated form submissions using short-lived server-side request counters. Your signup details are not shared with the online ordering system. You can request a copy or deletion of your signup details using the privacy request process explained on this page. The opening-update list is managed by authorized site administrators.
