Care you can understand. This page sets out our quality principles and the standards we aim to uphold. Specific checks, handling instructions and product information depend on the dish and the operation preparing it.

01 What quality means

For Momo Crown, a premium food experience brings together flavour, dependable preparation and thoughtful service. Our ambition is to carry Himalayan soul and Asian craft to a global table with care in the details.

Food with character
Ingredients, seasoning and texture that express the intended recipe, supported by an appropriate portion and considered presentation.
Care in preparation
Suitable ingredients, hygienic handling and process controls appropriate to the food being prepared and served.
Clarity for the guest
Accurate descriptions, relevant allergen and handling information, and a clear way to ask a question or raise a concern.

Quality assurance connects these expectations to the way a dish is specified, prepared, checked and reviewed.

02 Ingredient expectations

The right ingredient must suit both the recipe and its intended use. Our quality priorities for sourcing and receiving include:

  • Identity and specification. A clear understanding of the ingredient, its composition and the information needed to use it correctly.
  • Condition on receipt. Attention to packaging integrity, date information and storage or temperature requirements where relevant.
  • Supplier information. Details that support ingredient identification, traceability and a useful response when a question arises.
  • Changes and substitutions. Review of how a different ingredient could affect flavour, allergens, dietary descriptions or handling instructions before it is used.

A statement about origin, organic status or a named certification needs evidence for the specific ingredient or product. General brand language should not be used to imply such a claim.

03 Recipes & consistency

Chef-led craft benefits from a clear recipe. Ingredient quantities, preparation methods, portions and presentation references help a dish retain its intended character as it moves from the kitchen to the table.

Our focus is on the qualities that matter to the guest: balanced seasoning, suitable texture, the correct components and an order that matches its description. Recipe changes should be considered alongside ingredient information and preparation requirements.

Food made in-house can show natural variation in shape, colour and arrangement. That variation does not excuse a missing item, an incorrect portion, an undisclosed substitution or unsafe food.

Appearance, aroma and taste can inform culinary quality. They cannot, on their own, establish food safety.

04 How assurance works

Our quality framework brings standards, checks and learning together. The detailed controls and their frequency need to reflect the product, process, risks and applicable requirements.

  1. Set the standard

Establish the intended ingredients, recipe, portion, presentation and handling directions for the dish.

  2. Review what matters

Use appropriate checks at relevant stages of preparation and service, with clear responsibilities and useful records.

  3. Address a concern

Hold an item for assessment when a required condition is not met. Resolve safety concerns before any decision to serve it.

  4. Learn from the findings

Use the review to refine a recipe, process, instruction or training need, and check whether the change is effective.

Checks should support decisions throughout preparation. A final visual check alone cannot confirm that every necessary control has been met.

05 Safety & allergens

Food safety is a foundation of quality. It depends on appropriate hygiene, protection against contamination, separation of raw and ready-to-eat food, and cooking and storage conditions suited to the product.

If you have an allergy, intolerance or a specific dietary requirement, speak with the serving outlet before ordering. Ask about the current ingredients and preparation of the complete dish, including sauces and accompaniments.

  • Recipes and suppliers can change; check the information relevant to your current order.
  • Ask about cross-contact through shared equipment, preparation areas or cooking oil.
  • Vegetarian or vegan wording does not, by itself, establish that a dish is free from allergens.
  • If the dish’s suitability cannot be confirmed, do not order or consume it.

This page does not replace dish-specific allergen information. For food being prepared now, use the outlet’s live contact route; general email may not be read in time.

06 Packaging & handover

The final handover is part of the experience. Our priorities are packaging suited to the food and its intended use, an order that is correctly assembled, and the information needed to enjoy or handle it appropriately.

Protection
Packaging suitable for food contact and the expected service conditions, with attention to containment and integrity.
Order accuracy
The correct dishes, portions and listed accompaniments, with clear identification where needed.
Useful information
Relevant allergen, storage, cooking or reheating information for the item, including date or batch details where applicable.

Follow the product-specific directions supplied with your food. Packaging appearance alone does not show that it is suitable for a microwave, oven or freezer.

07 Records & technology

Useful records make a quality question easier to investigate. Depending on the product and operation, relevant information may include supplier details, ingredient identification, recipe revisions, preparation records and order references.

Momo Crown’s vision brings chef-led judgement together with technology. Digital tools can support clearer information, consistent instructions and more organised feedback. Their value depends on accurate records, responsible use and people who act on what they learn.

Quality claims need evidence that matches their scope. An audit, certificate or test result relates to its stated product, facility, method and period; it should not be presented as covering more than it does.

08 Concerns & follow-up

If something falls short, tell us what happened. For an active order, use the support route supplied by the serving outlet or ordering platform. For a written quality enquiry, contact Momo Crown.

Where available, include:

  • Your order reference, outlet, ordering channel and purchase or delivery date.
  • The dish or product name and a brief description of the concern.
  • Relevant packaging, batch or date details and photographs, if safe and practical to obtain.

You can still raise a concern without a photograph, receipt or the original packaging. Share the information you have.

Our approach is to understand the issue, review the relevant information and identify an appropriate response. A review may point to an individual order issue or a change needed in an ingredient, recipe, process or instruction.

A possible safety issue needs immediate care. Stop eating the affected item if you suspect it is unsafe. For a suspected medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately; do not wait for an email response.

Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights or remedies. You may also contact the relevant food-safety or consumer authority directly.

09 People & improvement

A dependable standard needs people who understand the dish, their responsibilities and when to ask for help. Clear instructions, role-appropriate training and a willingness to raise concerns are central to the quality culture we aim to build.

Guest feedback, recurring issues, supplier changes and process reviews can each reveal a useful improvement. The aim is to understand the cause, make an appropriate change and review its effect.

This page may be updated as our approach develops. A revision does not reduce the rights or agreed benefits attached to an existing order.

A conversation, with care
