An allergy question before you order? Speak with the serving outlet about your specific needs and the current dish information. For a suspected medical emergency, seek emergency help immediately.

01 Our approach

Momo Crown is a chef-led food brand, made in-house and guided by quality. The care behind a dish matters as much as its flavour, from the choice of ingredients to the information shared with the guest.

Our food-safety principles centre on suitable ingredients, hygienic preparation, appropriate handling and clear communication. These principles need to be supported by trained people, product-specific procedures and the requirements that apply to each operation.

This page offers general guidance. The current information for your dish, including ingredients, allergens and handling instructions, is essential when deciding whether it is suitable for you.

02 Allergens & dietary needs

Tell the serving outlet about any food allergy, intolerance or specific dietary requirement before ordering. Ask about the complete dish, including sauces, garnishes and accompaniments.

  • Check each time. Recipes and ingredients can change. A previous order does not establish a dish’s current suitability.
  • Discuss cross-contact. Allergens can transfer through shared utensils, equipment, surfaces or cooking oil. Ask about the risks relevant to your order.
  • Read dietary descriptions carefully. Vegetarian or vegan wording does not, by itself, mean that a dish is free from allergens.
  • Confirm the request. Do not assume an order note has been accepted. Get a clear answer from the serving outlet before relying on a preparation request.

If suitability cannot be confirmed, do not order or eat that item. General guidance on this page does not replace accurate, dish-specific allergen information.

03 Hygiene & preparation

Thoughtful preparation depends on practical controls throughout the kitchen. The essentials behind our food-safety principles are:

Suitable ingredients
Ingredients and water suitable for food use, with attention to their source, condition, identification and storage needs.
Clean handling
Careful hand hygiene, suitable cleaning of food-contact surfaces and equipment, and protection from contamination during preparation.
Separation
Appropriate separation of raw ingredients and food that is ready to eat, with controls for the ingredients and preparation methods involved.
Time & temperature
Cooking, cooling, storage and service conditions suited to the food. Limits and checks must come from the relevant process and applicable requirements.

04 Receiving your food

When a meal is served, collected or delivered, take a moment to check the order and any information supplied with it.

  • Match the items. Confirm that the dishes and any dietary instructions correspond to your order. Ask about anything unclear before eating.
  • Check the packaging. Report damage, leakage, suspected tampering or a broken seal where a seal was supplied.
  • Consider the handling. If a delay or the condition on arrival gives you a safety concern, do not eat the affected item. Contact the outlet or ordering platform.
  • Read the directions. Check any use-by date and the instructions for storage, cooking or reheating before serving the food.

Normal appearance or smell cannot establish that food is safe. Do not taste a suspect item to test it.

05 Storage & reheating

Follow the directions supplied for the particular product. A freshly served meal, a chilled product and a frozen product can require different handling.

Enjoy promptly
Eat ready-to-eat meals promptly after service or delivery. Keep perishable food out of prolonged room-temperature storage.
Keeping food for later
Ask for missing storage instructions. Cool and refrigerate suitable leftovers promptly, using clean containers and following product-specific and local public-health guidance.
Reheating
Check that the food is suitable for reheating and follow its directions, heating it until steaming hot throughout. Do not reheat rice more than once; ask whether takeaway rice has already been reheated.
Dates & uncertainty
Observe use-by dates and storage directions. If the storage history or safety is uncertain, do not eat the food. Reheating cannot be relied on to make mishandled food safe.

This page does not assign a shelf life to every Momo Crown dish. Ask the serving outlet for the instructions relevant to your order.

06 If something is wrong

Stop eating the affected item if you suspect a food-safety problem. Prevent anyone else from eating it and contact the outlet or ordering platform through the support route shown on your order.

A suspected severe allergic reaction is an emergency

Difficulty breathing, swelling of the tongue or throat, or collapse can be signs of a serious reaction.

Call local emergency services immediately if a severe reaction is suspected. If you have a prescribed adrenaline (epinephrine) auto-injector, use it as directed. Do not wait for a reply from Momo Crown.

If you become unwell after eating, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional; seek urgent help for severe symptoms. Customer support cannot diagnose an illness or replace medical care.

Do not send or bring suspected unsafe food to us without instructions. Ask the outlet or relevant food-safety authority how any sample should be handled.

07 Reporting a concern

A clear account helps identify the order and understand what needs to be reviewed. Where available, share:

Your order
The order reference, outlet, ordering channel, and date and time of purchase, collection or delivery.
The item
The dish or product name and any batch, lot or date information printed on its packaging.
What happened
A brief description of the concern, when you noticed it, and relevant handling or storage details.
Helpful context
Photographs, labels or the receipt, if available and safe to obtain. Do not handle a sharp object or suspect material just to take a photograph.

You can raise a concern even if you no longer have the food, packaging, a photograph or a receipt. Share the information you have; do not delay medical care to gather evidence.

For an active order, contact the serving outlet or platform first. You can also send a written report to our general contact address. Follow-up may be needed to clarify the details and identify an appropriate next step.

08 Safety information & notices

Menu descriptions and this general page do not replace current product labels, dish-specific allergen information or instructions issued for an affected item.

If you receive a product withdrawal or recall notice, match the product name and any batch or date details carefully, and follow the instructions in that notice. Do not eat an affected product. A notice may come from the business supplying the food or a relevant food-safety authority.

If information appears incomplete or inconsistent, ask the serving outlet to clarify it before eating. The date at the top of this page records its latest revision; it does not confirm the safety status of a particular order.

09 Your rights & privacy

Our handling guidance does not remove the responsibilities of the business preparing or supplying your food. Nothing on this page limits consumer rights or remedies protected by applicable law.

You may contact the relevant food-safety or consumer authority directly. You do not need to wait for our response before doing so.

Share only the personal or health information needed to explain your concern. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details. Read our Privacy Policy for information about personal-data handling.
